Setting Up Brand Templates for Team Use

Brand Templates let you turn any project you’ve created into a ready-to-use, on-brand starting point for your team — without touching or modifying the original project.

Adding a Project as a Brand Template

Give your project a clear, recognizable name so your team can easily identify its purpose when using it as a template.

From your Visme dashboard, click Brand Kit in the left sidebar, then open the Brand Templates tab.

Use the search bar to enter the project’s name and locate it in the search feed.

When the project appears, click the checkmark to add it as a Brand Template. You can also click the Preview icon to open it in a new tab before adding.

Once added, hover over the template to Present or Edit it directly. To remove it from your Brand Templates, click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the template card and select Remove as Template.

Note: If you’d like, you can restrict your team to only use your Brand Templates from the Settings tab of your Brand Kit.

Where to Find Your Brand Templates

From your Dashboard, click Create and select the type of project you want to start.

In the Templates screen, open the Branded Templates tab below the project types.

Turn on the View My Designs switch to see and access your saved Brand Templates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I add the same project as a Brand Template more than once? No, each project can only be added once. If you want variations, duplicate the project first and add each version separately.

Can I remove a project from Brand Templates without deleting the original? Yes. Clicking Remove as template only removes it from your Brand Templates list; the original project in your Dashboard is unaffected.

Who can add or remove Brand Templates? Only Administrators and users with the Designer or Marketing Manager role can access and edit Brand Templates.
