Customizing Line Styles in Visme

Formatting lines effectively can dramatically improve the clarity and aesthetics of your Visme designs. This article will guide you through customizing line styles, thickness, colors, and other properties to ensure your visuals communicate clearly and look polished.

Select the line you want to modify. It will appear with dotted edges once selected.

Click and drag either end of the blue dot to resize or reshape the line. The line will adjust proportionally while keeping clean, smooth edges. You can monitor its width, height, and position (X/Y axis) in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Once the line is positioned and sized as desired, keep it selected and use the Edit Lines menu on the left to continue customizing.

Adjust the Thickness slider at the top to set the line’s thickness.

Click the Color Box to choose any color you like for the line.

Use the Square and Round buttons to define the appearance of the line’s corners.

Choose the line style: Normal, Zig Zag, Wave, or Double.

To make the line dotted, select the dot style that best matches your preference.

Finally, select the design for the Start and End points of your line. Choose the first option if you want the line to have no special endpoint design.
