Customizing and animating Characters

Explore the steps below to unlock the full potential of customizing and animating your characters on your Forms:

Customizing your Character

After opening the form editor, access the interactive menu on the right side of your screen. If not done already, ensure that the Interactive switch is turned ON.

To start character customization, from the Character tab, you can either choose to customize an existing pre-created formal or casual character or create your Character from scratch by clicking the + under My Characters. To see all the existing characters that can be customized click on the arrow next to Formal/Casual to open the dropdown menu, and select your desired character by clicking on it.

After selecting your character, hover over it and click on the Edit button that appears. This action will redirect you to the Edit Character menu.

Modify the Character’s Name, Gender, and Style by clicking on the respective options. Then, determine the Skin Color by selecting the most suitable option for you.

To proceed with customization, click on the arrow next to the Head section and use the tabs to choose the desired Hair, Beard, Glasses, and Hats for your character. Use the None option if you prefer not to include any of the available options.

Repeat the process with the Apparel section. Here, you can select the Upper and Bottom garments, and Shoes for your character.

Click on the Save My Character button at the top to complete the process. Afterward, you can access your character from the My Character section at the top.

Animating your character

After fully customizing your character, navigate to the Animation tab at the top. A drop-down menu will appear, allowing you to select the specific moment you wish to customize: The Entrance, Waiting, or Ending. Click on the desired moment to begin customization. Then, scroll through various animation options and select the one that best suits your preferences by clicking on it. Repeat this process for each of the different moments.

Congratulations! Your character is now fully customized and animated according to your preferences.

Note: Don’t want an animated character on your form? Just click on Interactive to disable the character and its animated actions.
