Customizing the Header on Your Webpage Project

The header is one of the most important elements of your Webpage project, serving as the central navigation hub for your audience. It allows viewers to effortlessly jump between different sections of your webpage, enhancing usability and engagement. With Visme, you can easily customize the header to align with your brand and style. Follow these steps to make the most out of your header:

Customizing the Logo and Header Design

Click on the header at the top of your project. The settings menu will automatically open on the left side of the dashboard.

Navigate to the Design tab in the settings menu. Here, you can upload a new logo or select an existing one from My Files.

After uploading, adjust the logo’s size, alignment, spacing, and margins to fit perfectly within the header. You can also add a URL to make the logo clickable if desired.

Managing Header Items

The header also includes customizable buttons that help guide your audience to specific sections, external links, or social media pages. Here’s how to add and manage these buttons:

From the Settings menu, go to the Menu tab and click on Add New Item. A pop-up window will appear where you can customize the new button.

Use the Text box in the pop-up to give the button a clear, descriptive name that aligns with its function.

Choose the destination for the button:

– A section within your webpage.

– An external link.

– A social media page.

And provide the required information based on your choice.

Click Save to confirm and add the button to your header.

Return to the Design tab to customize the appearance of the navigation buttons. Adjust their font, size, letter case, text color, background, border color, and roundness to match your webpage’s overall style.
