Embed Online Content in your Visme project using iFrame

Embedding online content in your Visme project using iFrame is a great way to integrate interactive elements and external websites directly into your presentations. This allows your audience to engage with the content without leaving your project. Follow the simple steps below to get started:

Important: Some websites are designed to have blockers on them to allow other sites/visitors to crawl the size or “pick it up” to embed it within another platform or online solution. This is unfortunately something that the Visme platform cannot work around. If you are having challenges with your site embedding into Visme through the instructions below, please connect with your Website Development or IT team to review options to potentially whitelist the Visme domain to allow for embedments, or to adjust other settings within the backend of the website to allow for your site to be embedded.

1
Begin by opening your Visme project. Locate the left-hand sidebar, which contains various tools and options. In the sidebar, click on the Media tab to proceed to the next step.

2
Within the Media tab, find the Embed Online Content option. Click on it, and a pop-up window will appear. From the drop-down menu, select iFrame.

3
Navigate to the website you wish to embed. Look for the option to generate the iFrame code. This is often found in the sharing or embed section of the website. Once you find it, simply highlight the code and copy it.

Note: If the website doesn’t provide an iFrame code, you can manually create it using the following template:

<iframe src=”YOUR_URL_HERE” width=”WIDTH” height=”HEIGHT”></iframe>

Replace YOUR_URL_HERE with the website URL you want to embed and adjust the WIDTH and HEIGHT as needed.

4
Return to the pop-up window in Visme. Paste the iFrame code into the designated area. Then, click the Insert button to complete the process.

Note: Once you’ve embedded the website, you can adjust the width and height pixel dimensions to make the embedded view larger or smaller within your project.

That’s all! You have successfully embedded a website into your Visme project using iFrame. Now, your audience can interact with the content directly within your presentation, improving their viewing experience.
