How to create a New Project in Visme

Whether you are creating a new Presentation, Infographic or any other type of content, the steps are similarly done from the same console:

From your Visme Dashboard, click on the “Create New” button located on the top left of your Dashboard. Then, select “Project” from the dropdown menu.[green_number_text]

[tips_block]Note: Visme also allows you to import a PowerPoint as a project or create an online Whiteboard to expand your creativity to an infinite canvas.[/tips_block]

[green_number]2[/green_number][green_number_text]Choose the type of project you want to create from the dropdown menu. You will then be presented with multiple categories of themes and beautiful templates.

You can search for specific templates by typing in the search field.

Hover over the template you want to work on and click on the “Edit” button to start editing that project in the Editor.

Tips:
– If you are a novice / beginner choose one of the categories (ex. Presentations) to choose from available templates.
– If you have very specific requirements and want to create a brand new project from a blank canvas, choose the “Blank Template” option or the “Custom Size” option where you can also specify the size of your project area.
