Learn how Visme will change the way you create stunning content.
Visme allows you to create microsites that are fully responsive, giving you control over both desktop and mobile versions. Understanding how to manage these versions ensures that your content displays optimally across devices, while also allowing you to sync updates and restore previous versions if needed. This guide will walk you step by step through accessing, editing, and managing the desktop and mobile versions of your microsite.
Note: The desktop version is the standard view of your microsite, designed for larger screens and full browser windows. The mobile version is optimized for smaller screens, adjusting layout, text, and interactive elements for a seamless mobile experience.

Click the Microsite Settings button at the top of the page. The Microsite Settings panel will open on the left side.

In the Microsite Settings panel, go to the Responsive tab and activate the switch Show Mobile Version when you’re certain that you’ve completed the desktop version

Once activated, you can toggle between desktop and mobile views from the top menu by clicking the corresponding Desktop or Mobile icons.

Edits made in either the desktop or mobile version – such as changing text, images, or adding/deleting objects will sync automatically. The only exceptions are changes to object size or position. To sync those, open the Responsive tab in Microsite Settings and click Update Mobile/Desktop Version.
Note:If you use the Update Mobile/ Desktop version option this will sync all changes and override your entire layout. Only use this option if you would like to sync the entire layout. For example, if you are on the Desktop version and click Update Desktop Version, the Desktop version will be fully regenerated based on the Mobile version.

If you want to review or recover a previous version, from the Microsite Settings, click Go to Versions. Browse the list and select the version you want to review.

To revert to a previous version, click Restore this Version. This will replace the current version with the selected one, allowing you to recover earlier content.
Tips for Best Results
– Only sync versions when necessary to avoid unintended changes in layout.
– Use the mobile view to optimize text, images, and interactive elements for smaller screens.
– Regularly save and review versions to maintain control over your microsite content.
