To save time and effort when managing your assests in Visme, you can easily organize your folders with a quick drag-and-drop motion, adding them to any main or sub-folders of your choice and filter your uploaded files into categories to find what you need faster. You can also perform actions within our media library (aka My Files) in bulk such as add labels, add files to canvas, move files to a folder and download or delete many files at once. Here’s how:
Once in the Editor window of your Project, click on the “My Files” button located in the sidebar along the left side of your screen. A box will open and you’ll see, among other things, the “Expand” button at the bottom of the “My Files” area. Click on it to move forward.
For a better search, you can easily filter the files by your files, your team files, files used on projects, unused files or the recently uploaded files by clicking on the “Filter” button at the top right of the “My Files” area and selecting a category(es) from the dropdown menu.
Select the file(s) you would like to perform actions on by using the checkboxes on the left-hand side of each file.
Then, click the ‘Bulk Actions’ button and select the action you would like to perform between “Add Label”, “Add to Canvas”, “Move to Folder” or “Download”.
If what you want is to delete the files, click on the “Trash” button located to the right of the “Bulk Actions”.
Tip: Review your unused assets every so often in order to free up your storage
and leave space for new material.
