Time Yourself when Presenting with the Timer Feature

Visme’s Timer feature is a great tool for presenters, allowing you to track your time and stay on schedule during online presentations. Whether you’re presenting to an audience or collaborating with a team, the Timer ensures that you manage your time effectively. You can choose between two options: a countdown Timer or a count-up Stopwatch, both of which include sound and visual alerts.

Here’s how you can use the Timer feature in Visme:

Make sure to deselect all objects on your canvas to access the default toolbar. From the top panel, click on the Timer icon to open the Timer widget window.

Note: If you’re presenting your project, click on the three-dot icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen and select Set Time from the menu. This will open the Timer widget window.

In the Timer window, you’ll find two tabs:

– Timer: Set a countdown duration for your presentation.

– Stopwatch: Track how long you’ve been presenting.

In the Timer tab, set the duration for your presentation. Then, use the controls to Start, Pause, or Reset the Timer as needed.

Note: You can collapse the Timer window to keep it out of the way while still tracking your time.

If you prefer tracking the total time spent presenting, switch to the Stopwatch tab. Start, Stop, or Reset the Stopwatch at any point during your presentation.

Click on the Settings icon within the Timer window to enable or disable sound alerts.

Note: Visual and sound cues will notify you when time is running out, ensuring you stay on track.
