My friend forgot to use my referral link. Can they still be added as my referral? We’re unable to track or attribute a referral unless the person used your unique link or clicked through your invitation email. If they’ve already signed up without it, they may need to delete that account and create a new one using your link. It’s a good habit to remind referrals to use your link before they sign up.

The email address I invited is showing a “not eligible for referral” message. Why? Invited email addresses must be valid, and you can’t invite someone you’ve already sent an invite to previously. If they’ve lost their original invite, simply share your unique referral link with them directly instead.

My friend signed up using my referral link, but I don’t see the credit in my account. What happened? Signing up is just the first step — your referral also needs to purchase and maintain an upgraded subscription within the program’s qualifying window. Approved rewards go through a 30-day hold period, during which Visme reviews the referral, payment, refund status, and other account details before the reward is finalized. If you believe an eligible referral wasn’t recorded after that window, reach out to our support team.

How many friends can I refer? There’s no limit on the number of people you can invite. However, referrers can accumulate a maximum of 12 months of referral rewards during the lifetime of their participation in the program.

Who is eligible to participate in the Referral Program? The program is available to eligible paying Visme users on Starter, Pro, or Team plans, unless stated otherwise. Free users, Enterprise customers, custom contract customers, agencies, resellers, partners, and Visme employees are generally not eligible to participate. For Team plans specifically, only the billing account owner can participate in and earn from the program — individual workspace members are not eligible to earn rewards.

Can I refer myself or use my own link to get a discount? No. Self-referrals are prohibited, and a referral may be disqualified if Visme determines that the referrer and referred user are the same person, under common control, or otherwise connected in a way that suggests an attempt to circumvent the program’s rules.

Can my referral combine the 10% discount with another coupon or promotion? No — the referral discount can’t be combined with other discounts, coupons, promotional offers, credits, or special pricing unless Visme expressly permits it, and it’s available only once, for the referred user’s first qualifying purchase.

What happens if my referral gets a refund or disputes their charge? If a referred user’s payment is refunded, reversed, charged back, or otherwise invalidated, Visme may deny, reduce, reverse, or remove the related reward — and rewards already issued can be reversed if fraud or other disqualifying activity is identified within 60 days of issuance.

Can I post my referral link on coupon or deal sites, or run paid ads with it? No. Referral links may not be posted on coupon or deal sites, and referrers may not run paid ads, paid search campaigns, or trademark bidding campaigns using Visme’s name or referral links unless Visme expressly permits it. Links must always be shared in a truthful, non-spam way, with a clear disclosure that you may earn a reward if the recipient makes a purchase.
