Managing advanced settings for Visme projects

Visme provides a range of Advanced Settings that let you customize how your published projects look, function, and interact with viewers. Whether you want to adjust appearance settings, control navigation, manage privacy options, or add background music, these settings give you full control over your content.

This guide walks you through accessing and configuring Advanced Settings to optimize your Visme projects for the best possible user experience.

Click on the Share button at the top-right corner of the screen.

In the Share Online page, click Advanced Settings at the top right of the screen.

Or, click on the Menu icon of the top left of the screen and select Published Settings options in the dropdown menu.

Once you are in the Publish Settings/Advanced Settings page, you will see list of options categorized into different tabs.

Appearance tab

This tab controls how your project looks and behaves when published.

Responsive:

Dynamic sizing your Visme according to viewer’s display size. (Recommended)

Presenter View:

Access your presentation notes while presenting, view upcoming slides in your deck and choose to hide or not speaker notes from viewers.

PDF Control Bar:

When enabled, users can navigate through the pages of an embedded PDF within the project.

Control Bar:

When turned on, you will see the Presenter View icon when you Preview or Publish your project. When you click on Presenter View icon, it will open up a new window with the Timing, Current Slide, Next Slide, and Presentation Notes.

Hide Visme Logo:

Remove the Visme branding from the top bar of the published project.

Loop:

When turned on, it will automatically go to next slide at then end of each slide instead of manually clicking on the slide. Click on Select Slide and choose a slide to edit its transition effect in the dropdown menu.

Autoplay Animations:

When turned on, it will automatically play any animation and interactive content in the timeline of your project

Background:

Choose the global page background color of your Visme Presentation.

Navigation Tab

This tab, controls how users navigate your project on desktop and mobile devices.

Desktop Options:

Enable navigation using keyboard arrows and navigation using mouse clicks.

Mobile Options:

Enable navigation using finger swipes and navigation by tapping on an active slide.

Privacy tab

From this tab, you can manage visibility, sharing, and interaction settings.

Profile:

When turned off, your profile and project title will be turned off.

Social Share:

Allow your Visme project to be shared on Facebook, Twitter and other social media networks.

Comments:

When turned off, the comment section is removed, preventing users from adding comments.

Requires Registration:

When turned on, it will have a pop up window that requires users to fill out the contact form before they could view your project. It collects visitors’ contact information. You can then view, filter and download this information in your Visme Dashboard/ This is a great for lead generation and inbound marketing. Click here to learn more.

Indexing:

Having the “Allow search indexing” option ON will allow search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ask…etc index your published projects. However, if you want to prevent search engines form indexing your published project, simply turn OFF this option.

Download:

When on, viewers can download your project as a PDF.

Sound tab

Background Music:

When turned on, music can be heard from the background while playing the presentation. The music stops when the presentation is finished. You can choose audio or upload your own. You could even adjust the volume or turn on Loop Music to let your background play continuously.
