Building Multi-Step Forms for Better User Experience

Creating a multi-step form in Visme allows you to break down complex information collection into manageable sections, enhancing user engagement and completion rates. This support article provides step-by-step instructions on how to design and organize a multi-step form effectively.

In the form editor window, click Add Content at the top of the Form Fields panel on the left side of your screen.

Go to the Steps tab at the top, then select the structure you want to include in each step by clicking on them.

Once you’ve selected the step’s structure, click Add Step. A new step will be created automatically.

Once the step is created, add the fields you want to include in it.

Tip: If needed, reorder the fields in your form to create a smoother flow of questions.

After arranging the fields, click the Preview button at the top right of the editor window to see how the questions appear across different steps.

That’s it! Once users complete the form, they will see the Thank You information.
