Downloading Your Project as HTML5 for Offline Use

The HTML5 download option is a premium feature that allows you to take your project offline without losing the animations, interactivity, video, audio, and other dynamic elements you’ve worked so hard on. Whether you’re presenting in a low-connectivity area or just want peace of mind, HTML5 is your best friend for offline delivery.

Note: Any third-party externally embedded content (like YouTube videos or live web embeds) will not function offline—they require an internet connection to load.

1
In the Editor window, locate and click the Download button in the top-right corner.

2
From the list of available formats, select Present Offline, then click HTML5. Before downloading, check out the Advanced Settings:

– Control Bar: Enables navigation buttons (great for audience-led browsing).

– Presenter View: Opens a second screen for your private presenter notes.

– Public Notes: Displays/Hide speaker notes to your audience.

If your slides include Speaker Notes, it’s highly recommended to enable Presenter View for an optimal experience.

3
Click on the Download button and your project will begin generating as a Zipped (compressed) HTML5 package. Depending on the complexity and media content in your project, generation may take a few moments.

4
To extract and access your HTML5 Project you will need to unzip the downloaded file:

– Mac: Double-click the zipped file to extract it.

– Windows: Right-click the zipped file, select Extract All, and follow the prompts.

We recommend moving the extracted folder to your desktop or a dedicated project folder for easier future access.

5
Open the extracted folder and double-click the index.html file to launch your project in your default browser.

Note: We recommend Google Chrome for the smoothest performance. Other supported browsers are Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari. Internet Explorer 11 is not supported.

6
When presenting your HTML5 project offline, and if you enabled the Control Bar, you’ll see familiar navigation tools at the bottom of your screen:

– Use the left and right arrows to move through slides.

– Type in a slide number to jump directly.

– Open the slide list to navigate out of order with ease.

7
You’ll also have access to several useful tools for offline presenting:

– Mute/Unmute: Quickly toggle audio playback.

Fullscreen: Click the fullscreen icon (bottom right) for a distraction-free view.

– Hamburger Menu (☰): Access advanced tools like Presenter View (great for dual screens), Pointer and drawing tools, Camera view, Setting a time and Cookie settings.

These features give you full flexibility and control—even without an internet connection.

8
When activated, Presenter View will open in a new browser window. This window acts as your command center, allowing you to control the original presentation window. Perfect for dual-display setups and speaker presentations. From there, you can also Pause or Reset the Timer, without affecting your system clock.
