Formatting Visme Tables to Improve Visual Appeal

Formatting and styling your tables in Visme allows you to align their appearance with your project’s visual identity. From adjusting borders and colors to customizing fonts and alignment, Visme offers a variety of design options to help you present data in a way that’s both clear and visually compelling.

1
Select the table with a single click in the Editor window and drag one of the corners to adjust it to the desired size.

2
You can also resize it by using the Bubble icons on the right and bottom edges.

To learn how to add columns and rows to your table, check out this resource.

3
To change the font for the entire table, use the toolbar at the top to select the font type, size, style (bold, italic, or underline), alignment, and list properties such as bulleted lists.

4
For individual or grouped cells, rows, or columns, select the area you wish to reformat and apply the same font and style options from the toolbar.

5
You can also define the type of content in each cell by using the Content drop-down menu, which includes Text, Number, Currency, Percent, and Date, each with different formatting properties.

6
The toolbar also lets you set the vertical alignment of data within a cell, choosing between top, middle, or bottom placement.

7
To apply custom colors, select the desired cells, rows, or columns and use the Fill Color drop-down menu to set a background color.

Note: You can choose from your global color palette, one of the 50 preset color combinations, or create a custom palette in the My Palettes tab.

8
Finally, you can adjust borders by choosing a border style and color from the Borders drop-down menu.

All objects in Visme can be assigned a hyperlink using the Link tab at the top, including cells and text in tables! These can be linked to an external website, linked to another slide or content block (infographic) in your project, or even to summon a pop-up or rollover object in your canvas. For more information on how to make your content interactive using the Actions tab, check out this resource.
