Have you invited a colleague to join your Workspace but you have some doubts about the process? It’s really easy! Here’s what will happen once you send the invite:
If the invitee doesn’t have a Visme account:
If the invitee doesn’t have a Visme account created yet, they need to create a Visme account using the same email address that was used to invite them to Visme. They can click on the “Create an Account” option on the sign in window they will see after they click “Join Workspace” in their email invite, or create an account on our website with the “Sign Up Free” button in the top right corner of the page.
Once they have created their account and signed into Visme, they will need to go back to the email invite and click “Join Workspace”.
What does invalid token mean?
If the invitee receives an “Invalid Token” error when attempting to sign in, they are using an email address for their username that doesn’t match the username you used to invite them to your workspace.
To avoid this issues during the process make sure that:
1- The invitees create a Visme account using the same email address that was used to invite them to Visme before joining the workspace. Once they have this account created, they will be able to go back to the invitation Email and click “Join Workspace” to join the workspace.
2- The invitee is signed into the same Email Address profile within their browser. This allows Visme to read their log in, match their username/profile to your workspace, and add them successfully.
