Use the Team Blocks feature to streamline the content creation process of your team by cutting down the time it takes to create content blocks from scratch and ensure design and branding consistency within your company. Here’s how:
Note: Admin users within the workspace are able to create Team Block folders and share them with the other users within their workspace (Share with Team). From there, Admin users are able to add more blocks to the folders. Member permissions allow the users to utilize the blocks within their project from the Team Blocks folders. Once members add the block to their project, they can edit it as needed; however, members are not able to add or edit the blocks within the Team Blocks window.
Note: You can also select objects individually by clicking on the first object, then holding down the shift key to select the rest one by one until all desired objects are selected.
If this is a new folder you are creating with blocks for your team, create and name the folder. Then, select to have the folder and blocks within it shared with the team. If you wish to add the block to an existing folder, you can select the folder to add it to within the folder list. Folders already shared with the team will have a circle with avatar icons in it at the bottom right corner of the folder. Once you have created or select your folder, click Ok.
If you have a previously created folder you wish to share with your team, navigate to the Basics tab on the left side of the editor window and select My Blocks at the top of the menu. While you’re exploring My Blocks you will preview all folders and saved blocks as a list.Hover over the folder you’d like to share with your team and click on the menu icon on the left. From there, click on Share with my Team.
While the users within your workspace are creating a project in the editor, they’ll navigate to the Basics tab on the left side of the editor window and select My Blocks at the top of the menu. From there, they can click on the My Blocks drop down and select Team Blocks. This will show the team block folders where they can click to browser available blocks you have provided for them. They can select any blocks they’d like to drag and drop them into their project.
