How to use the Trim View on Visme

Working with many design elements on one page or project? Turn on or off the Trim View feature to hide or show objects that are moved outside your project space and easily rearrange or remove items along the way. Here’s how:

Click on the hamburger icon in the editor window of your project. From the dropdown menu, click on the View Settings button and turn the Trim View switch ON/OFF.

When the Trim View is ON, all the objects outside the canvas are hidden to eliminate distraction and visualize what the end project will look like.

Trim View OFF

When the Trim View is OFF, objects will be stacked outside the canvas and you can drag them into it when necessary. If there are objects or elements in your design partially outside the canvas, they will be also visible but at a lower opacity.

Tip: Use the Ruler & Smart Guides feature to easily identify the size and precise location of the objects you’re working with and calculate distances from design elements to the other objects around them.
