Adding Audio to your Visme project

Whether you’re creating a presentation, a video, or an interactive design, adding audio is a powerful way to elevate your project and connect with your audience. Visme offers multiple options for adding sound, from background music to narration and even AI voiceovers, giving you full control over how and where audio is used.

Here are the different ways you can add audio to your Visme projects:

Upload Your Own Audio File: If you have a specific track, voiceover, or sound effect ready to go, you can upload your own MP3 or WAV file (up to 25MB). This option is perfect if you’re working with custom or professionally recorded audio. Once uploaded, it will appear in your My Audios for easy access.

Use Audio from Visme’s Library: Visme’s built-in Audio Library includes a wide range of royalty-free music and sound clips you can use in your projects. From background tunes to sound effects, you’ll find something to match your tone and purpose.

Record Your Own Narration: For a personal touch, you can record your voice directly in Visme. This feature is great for walk-throughs, educational content, or any project where your voice helps guide the story. Your recordings are automatically saved under My Audios for reuse.

Use AI Text-to-Speech: Don’t want to record your own voice? Let AI do it for you. With Visme’s AI Text-to-Speech feature, you can type your script and choose from a variety of voices to generate a professional-sounding narration instantly. You can even adjust tone, accent, speed and more.

How Audio can be used in your project

Depending on the type of project you’re creating, audio can be applied in different ways:

– As Background Audio: Apply audio across your entire project for continuous music or narration.

– On Specific Slides: Add unique audio clips to individual slides (Perfect for dynamic presentations or story-driven content).

– Attached to an Object: Tie a sound effect or short clip to a visual element, like a button or icon, as an interactive element.

Note: Find out how to manage audio settings in the Animation Timeline.
Note: If you’re using voiceovers or narration (recorded or AI-generated), you can also add Closed Captions for accessibility and clarity. This is especially helpful for multilingual audiences or viewers watching without sound.
