Learn how Visme will change the way you create stunning content.
Adding voiceovers or narrations to your project can bring it to life and help get your message across more effectively. With Visme, you can easily record your audio directly inside the editor. Here’s how:
Record from the Media Tab (when the timeline is not open)

To get started, click on the Media tab located on the left side of the editor, then select Add Audio.

In the panel that appears, navigate to the Record button at the top.

Click on the red Record button that will appear at the bottom of the editor to begin. You’ll see a countdown from 3, and then you can start speaking your narration. Once you’re finished, just click the Stop button.

From there, click Save to Library to save your recording in My Audios. If you’re not happy with how it turned out, you can click Cancel and start over.
Record from the Animation Timeline

If you’re already working within the Animation Timeline, you can record from there too. Just click the Timeline button at the top menu of the editor.

In the bottom right corner, click the arrow next to the microphone icon, then select Record Narration from the menu that appears.

Once again, click the red Record button and start speaking when ready. Click on the Stop icon to finish the recording.

After you’ve recorded your audio, it will appear in green on the timeline. You can trim it by dragging the edges left or right, or reposition it anywhere along the timeline to adjust when the audio plays during the slide.

Right-clicking on top of the audio in the timeline will allow you to access additional settings.
Note: Every recording you create is also saved to your personal media library. To access it, go to Media > Add Audio > My Audios. From there, you can rename or download the file and more by clicking the three-dot menu on the audio card.
