Getting comments and feedback on your Visme Project

With Visme’s Commenting feature, you can get digital feedback on your projects through comments. The comments are then available back in the Visme editor to allow you to quickly apply needed changes or reply with your collaborators for further discussion.

You can provide your reviewers with commenting access via email or by sharing a link. Collaborators can then use various annotation tools, such as pinning, circling, pointing, or drawing, on any aspect of your Visme design to provide visual feedback, instructions, and suggested edits.
Before we dive in, let’s Visme’s Plans that includes Commenting, and how others can provide Comments on published projects:

– In order to publish a project with commenting access, you will need a Visme Pro Plan, Team Plan or Enterprise plan subscription.
– Anyone with a Visme account can comment on a published project – commenting is available for Visme users that have a free or premium plan. When someone is commenting on a project, they will need to be logged into their Visme account in order for the comments to post successfully. This not only helps the project owner know who is viewing and commenting on the project, but it also helps Visme adhere to our privacy policies and standards.
– Anonymous Commenting is available within Visme Enterprise Plan – click here and learn about anonymous comments.

Once you have provided commenting access through the steps below, here is how your project reviewers can provide comments and markup edits.

Now, let’s dive into how you can provide someone commenting access:

1
From the project editor, click on the Share button located at the top right corner of your screen. Then, select Share Privately on the Share Online page.

2
If you wish to have specific people comment, enter their email addresses in the designated box. Then, choose Can Comment from the dropdown menu on the right, and click on Send Invite.

Note: This will send an email notification to the address you submitted in the Share window. The recipient you sent the commenting access to will be able to access the Visme project by clicking on the link within the email. You can also copy and paste the project URL at the bottom of the Share window and provide that to them. As a reminder, the person will need to be logged into a Visme account in order to comment.

3
To allow anyone to comment, opt for Anyone with the link from the dropdown menu below the box.

Note: This grants commenting access to anyone with the link. This means you can copy and paste the project URL at the bottom of the Share window and provide that to anyone you wish to comment on the project. As a reminder, commenters will need to be logged into a Visme account in order to comment.

4
If you prefer only your Visme team to access the link, select Only people on my team.

Note: This means only the members of your workspace will be able to view and comment on your project. As a reminder, the members of the team/workspace will need to be logged into a Visme account in order to comment.

5
Once you’ve chosen the best option for you, activate the Can Comment switch using the dropdown menu on the right.

6
Copy your private URL provided at the bottom of the Share menu and share it to receive comments.

7
You’re ready! Collaborators can pin, circle, point or draw on any part of your Visme design to leave feedback, suggested edits and comments.

Note: Visme’s Enterprise plans allow you to set up your shared project to allow for Anonymous Comments.
