Using Deeper Analytics to Track Visme Project Engagement

If your team uses Visme for sales, marketing, or training, understanding how your audience interacts with your projects is essential. Deeper Analytics provides powerful tools to track who is viewing your content, where they come from, and how much time they spend on each slide. This insight allows you to improve lead generation, audit viewer engagement, and optimize your content’s impact. Learn how to integrate Deeper Analytics into your workflow to maximize your project’s effectiveness.

Note: Deeper Analytics is a premium Visme feature that requires an Enterprise team plan. This feature goes deeper than the Analytics included with our Business plan.

Add a Registration Form

1
For any project that is published, shared, or embedded, the first step towards achieving deeper analytics is to add a registration form on the projects.

2
Click on the Share button at the top right corner of your project.

3
The Share pop-up window will appear. From there, click the Advanced Settings tab in the bottom-left corner to access the Privacy settings.

4
From there, turn ON the Requires Registration switch.

5
Choose the type of form:

– Basic Form: Prompts viewers to enter their name, email, and company name.

– Visme Form: You can select an existing Visme Form from the dropdown or create a new one.

Analyze Data

1
Go to the Data tab in your Dashboard, select the Analytics tab, and then select your project from the list that loads.

2
By default, the page opens to Views, showing a general overview of all views for a given date range. Narrow ranges provide more specific insights, while wider ranges give a broader perspective of engagement over time.

3
Click Viewers to see aggregated data for each viewer: date/time, IP, location, total time, source and completion.

Clicking an individual row reveals how much time that user spent on each slide. Example: A viewer may spend the most time on the final slide, indicating heightened interest

4
To dig deeper, go to Form Results at the top left and select a specific project from the dropdown. You’ll see detailed form data including: date, name, email, organization, project, and location.

By cross-referencing timestamps and location data from Analytics with Form Results, you can identify exactly who viewed your project.

Follow Up and Export Data

Once you have collected and analyzed this information:

– Use it to pursue sales opportunities, guide training programs, or gain valuable business insights.

– Both Analytics and Form Results can be exported as CSV files, allowing further analysis and reporting in Excel.
