Make the design elements of your project look more three-dimensional and “pop out” of the picture by adding a drop shadow in just a few, simple steps. Here’s how:
1
Select the object (an image or a shape) in your Project you want to add shadow to and click on the Effects button at the top right corner.

2
From the dropdown menu, turn the Shadow switch ON. You can now make the necessary adjustments to create the ideal shadow for the object.

3
Click on the color box to customize the shadow color. If you have the Brand Area through your subscription type and have added your brand colors, your brand colors will be demonstrated in the color menu for you to easily apply to the shadow. If you do not have your brand colors applied in your workspace, you can choose one of the existing colors, add in a new color (by putting in the hex code) or use the color picker to pull a color from the design that you wish to use in the shadow.

Note: Learn more on how to change object colors here.
4
Use the Blur box to customize the blur effect to the shadow. Then, move the shadow placement circle around the box to set the location of the shadow or type the new precise values of shadow placement on the axis fields to the right of the main box.
