Visme’s Desktop App for Mac
There are many benefits to using Visme’s desktop application, including:
- Improved Performance: You no longer need to rely on your browser’s performance limitations. With Visme’s standalone desktop app, your content creation process goes more smoothly.
- Easy to Access: Stop trying to find your Visme Projects amongst your hundreds of open tabs. Instead, easily access Visme in your computer’s taskbar or favorite programs, with each Project in its own tan in the app.
- User Interface: The user interface is the same Dashboard or Editor you know and love from the browser version, so there’s no new learning curve to overcome. Just login and start creating!
- Distraction Free: Visme’s native experience doesn’t allow for other tabs to distract you from focusing on content creation. Your mind is free to zero in on your visual content, presentations, infographics, and more.
Download, Installing, & Using the Mac Desktop App

Navigate to http://www.visme.co/download and select Download for Mac.

When the download is complete, open the DMG file. Drag and drop Visme into your Applications folder.
If a Security Warning appears, click Open to bypass it.

Navigate to your Applications folder by either double-clicking it in the DMG folder or using the Finder to select Go -> Applications (⇧⌘A). Scroll to the app’s location, then double-click the icon to open it.
Additionally, you can click and hold the icon in the Dock or right-click it and select Options -> Keep In Dock for easy access later.

Upon launch, the app will prompt you to login. Click Login via your browser to continue.
After logging in, your browser will prompt you to return to the app. Click Open Visme to continue.

With you account now logged in, the familiar Dashboard will appear. Any Projects you wish to edit will open in separate tabs within the application.

You can easily edit multiple open multiple Projects within the same window. Click the corresponding tab to edit each open Project.
To close a Project, select tab and click the X icon.

To return to your Dashboard without closing your open Projects, navigate to the top left and click Dashboard next to the Visme icon.
Additionally, within the Editor window of a Project, you can return to the Dashboard by selecting Back to Dashboard from the top left menu above the sidebar – just like in the browser version of Visme!

Using the top menu of the application, you can reach our main support page by navigating to Help -> Learn More.
Additionally, you can check for any Software Updates to the app by selecting Visme -> Check for updates.
