FAQ’s – Preview and Rendering Issues

I have some differences in Visme editor versus what I see when I preview and publish project.

This is rare but it is possible depending on few technical factors.   First make sure you turn off all extensions on your browser.   Log out and retry.  If you continue to have issues; contact us and we can assist you with a resolution.

My published project is taking too long to load or not rendering properly.

See above answer for tips;  Additionally make sure your project does not contain large files.  For example if you have a project containing numerous images you uploaded and they are 500KB or more each,  these will increase the loading time of your project.

Lastly, you may acquire a lot of layers during the design process. Make sure you clean up your project before final publish.  Remove objects you are not using anymore to lighten the size of your project and improve loading times.

I downloaded my project and it’s not downloading properly.

This is often related to the weight of your project.  The more objects / layers it contains the heavier (in terms of code) your project will be in the background.   For example using too many Dynamic objects such as Graphs and Infograph widgets will lead to potential download issues.

Reduce the number of objects by removing the ones you no longer need on your final version to improve download and project stability.

I downloaded my project as PDF / image and some of the text is wrapping.

This is a rare occurrence.  There are some restrictions in how text in HTML5 can render during export.   Some tips that can help reduce/eliminate this issue is to adjust between justification of your text (ex. Left vs. Center) , and extending the border area (blue area around text when you select it in Visme editor and adding additional space to right of the text block.

I’m using Google Chrome and having rendering issues during editing.

Make sure you turn off extensions if you are using Google Chrome.   Some extensions can affect editing.   Simply turn them off. here’s how.
